The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board is going to organize a written examination for the recruitment of Constables (Male & Female) in the state Police Department. The written examination will be conducted 04 june 2023. The eligible candidates will find their Kolkata Police Admit Card 2023 on the official web portal of the department.
The WBPRB has released a notification for the 1666 vacancies of Constable and Lady Constables in May 2022. As per the reports from the examination authority, more than 05 lakh candidates are expected to be a part of the selection process. Firstly the exam board will organize a written examination followed by a Physical test and medical exam.
The candidates should bring Kolkata Police Constable Admit Card to the examination venue along with other required documents. The board officials will not any candidate to enter the exam centre without proper documentation.

Kolkata police Admit Card 2023 for the constable test will be made available online at the wbpolice.gov.in website at least a week prior to the exam date. The same document may be downloaded by candidates via the URL provided for each district.
The admit cards have been sent out in groups of districts to make sure that the process goes smoothly and doesn’t get stopped by technical problems.
Candidates who filled out applications for the constable position online or on paper can get their WB Police Admit Card by entering their 8-digit application number and their date of birth.
Those who applied online will not get a paper admit card, which will only be sent to those who applied offline. The department will not send admit card to these people.
KP Constable Preliminary Exam Paper Pattern
- The Preliminary exam will be 100 marks.
- There will be 03 parts to the question paper.
- The candidates will get a penalty of ¼th mark.
- For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded a 01 mark.
- The examination will be conducted for 01 hour/60 minutes.

Instructions to download the Kolkata Police Constable Admit Card 2022
- Go to the official website of the WB Police at wbpolice.gov.in.
- Now go to the “Recruitment” section of the website.
- After that, the candidates will find the Constable & Lady Constable recruitment page link.
- Now on that page, the candidates will get the Kolkata Police Admit Card.
- Then enter the registration number and password of the online application on the next page.
- Then the admit card will appear on your device screen.
- Save it and print it to carry it to the examination centre.
Document Valid in Exam Hall with Kolkata Police Admit Card 2023
Printed Copy of your Kolkata Police Admit Card is invalid without the supporting document. The documents which are accepted with the Kolkata Police Admit Card are –
- Voter ID,
- Driving License,
- Passport,
- Aadhar Card,
- Passport.
Due to Covid, the candidates may have to carry additional things such as:
- Face Mask or Face Shield,
- Hand sanitizer etc.
Also, your College ID or University ID may be accepted as a Valid Document. However, it is always better to take any of the given above Valid ID Card.
